2019 TAX CREDIT INFORMATION AND FORM
VOTED 2007 NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR
FOUNTAIN HILLS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Dear Friends of Extended Hands Community Food Bank,
The State of Arizona has given taxpayers a wonderful avenue of charitable giving that actually gives the contributor a double tax incentive. (A tax credit on the state level and a tax deduction on the federal level.)
The Tax Credit System as one faithful contributor put it is “a no-brainer” for the tax payer who is going to pay taxes one way or another. A tax credit allows the payer to designate the dollar amount and reduce their tax obligation by that amount. For example, a contributor who owes a $1000.00 in Arizona State Tax can give up to $800.00 to the Food Bank as a contribution and receive a tax credit and also deduct the same amount from their federal tax obligation as a charitable donation.
Our goal again this year is to raise $100,000.00 for the food bank operation. This would only take 250 couples giving the maximum of $800.00 this calendar year. Single contributors can give up to $400.00.
Please, help us get the word out to family members, church members, club members, neighbors, friends and co-workers.
TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN OUR COMMUNITY!
